Single Cup Coffee has been the fastest growing segment of the Office Coffee Service (OCS) industry over the past 20 years. Customers appreciate the ease of use, selection and quality of the product offered by systems such as Keurig, Mars Drinks, and Pod Brewers.
Even as they embraced this trend, our customers began expressing their concerns about the waste generated with every K-cup, Freshpack, T-Disk or coffee pod used to brew that one perfect cup.
Zero Waste Single Cup System
As a result, Planet Coffee designed an innovative recycling program that meets and exceeds the expectations of our customers.
We are the only OCS Company in Alberta to supply all Single Cup Customers with recycling bins to collect used single cup packaging at no extra charge.
Planet Coffee has also joined forces with a local EMERALD AWARD WINNING company that uses the waste we collect and convert it into thermal energy (WTE) for their facilities energy requirements. This is forcing change within the OCS industry.
